And the second one won’t be far behind. Now he needs to push on the adult teeth with his tongue to make sure that come where they should be.

Is it normal?
Well, if it’s not “normal” at least it’s very common, or so has the dentist assured me. Henry had been complaining that his teeth hurt for about a month now. When he first mentioned it I checked in his mouth and saw that his top 6-year- old molars where in and that the bottom ones where in the process of coming in. So I explained to him that teeth coming in hurt, I gave him some Motrin and called it good. Two weeks ago, after regular complaining, I checked again and this is what I saw…
Yes, my first reaction was “what the…?” Tyler called his mother, who told him not to worry about it, that the baby teeth would eventually fall out. Well, I did worry and I searched the internet, because isn’t it what we all do in this day and age? After finding quite a few posts and still not entirely reassured, Henry’s baby teeth weren’t even loose, I called the dentist, who said… exactly the same thing; to have Henry wiggle the baby teeth and push with his tongue on the big ones and that the baby ones would fall out on their own. Well, He did wiggle them and finally last night one did fall out.

Winter Fun
Today the snow stopped falling and gave us hours of fun. For Olivia and Henry, it was fun playing in the snow and For Tyler and I, it was fun watching them having such a good time. They stayed in the snow for hours, literally. It was beautiful outside and the quantity of snow provided them with endless possibilities.
They investigated the entire back yard. They chased each other. They made snow angels and then decide to bury each other in the snow.
After being frozen and completely covered in snow, I thought they would come in but no they made snowmen, large and small.
They continued with a few hours of dressing up and being silly, coming up with hilarious scenarios. It was the perfect entertainment for me while ironing.
They finished their perfect day with a nice hot bath each (I’ll spare you the pictures). It was perfect for them because of all the fun they had and perfect for me because they didn’t argue once. They were best friends all day long.

Snow Day
We got a call at 5:56 this morning. It scared the crap out of me but it was just an automated snow day call. So I went back to sleep happy that I wouldn’t have to get up early to do Olivia’s hair as today was supposed to be picture day. Olivia and I stayed in our jammies this morning and watched “Benny and Joon”. Henry’s priorities were different. He got decked out in his snow gear and went outside to play.
How is it that he can’t clean his room but that he has no problem clearing the snow off the entire play set?
